November 27 Black Friday: W.L. May open. All major carriers making pickup and deliveries.

December 24 Christmas Eve: W.L. May Closed. Carriers making deliveries, with priority (in past years) given to residential deliveries.
December 25 Christmas Day: W.L. May closed. No major carriers making pickup or deliveries.
December 26 Boxing Day: W.L. May Closed. It is a Saturday. Major carriers on Saturday Schedule.

December 31 New Years Eve: W.L. May Closed. Carriers making deliveries, and pickups.
January 1 New Years Day: W.L. May closed. No major carriers making pickup or deliveries.
January 2: W.L. May Closed. It is a Saturday. Major carriers on Saturday Schedule.

ONE MORE THING

December is the most difficult month of the year for the shipping industry. They are dealing with a much larger number of packages than at other times of the year. Early Winter storms can cause delays on many highways and at airports, effecting both ground and air shipments. W.L. May and our carriers are working hard to make sure you do not see any delays, but be aware weather events can happen fast and are beyond our control.

Happy Holidays, All,

Yes, I am still on vacation - and it's wonderful - but I wanted to wish all of you and your families the best of the holiday season.

I am busy doing some long awaited projects, making my Christmas goodies and doing the last minute shopping.  And a lot of relaxing!  And today is my birthday so I'm really pampering myself!

I just wanted to remind everyone that W L May will be closed December 24th and 25th.  Also, we will be closed December 31st and January 1st for New Year's.  We will be open regular business hours elsewise:  7:30am to 5:30pm weekdays and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays (Portland, OR branch only on Saturdays) except for noted above.

Labor Day Weekend

Special Announcement: 

W.L.May will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2014 to celebrate Labor Day with our families. 

Shipping companies will also be closed for the holiday.

Hello everybody!

Just a short post today to confirm that all of W.L. Mays branches as well as all of the shipping companies we deal with will be closed on July 4th to celebrate the holiday with our families. Regular hours will resume Saturday, July 5th at 8a. Thanks for your support and have a great holiday!

During Christmas and New Years Holidays, there is are several schedule changes that you should be aware of. They are as follows:

December 24, Christmas Eve:
This is the busiest day of the year for shipping companies. Most carriers will put a priority on residential deliveries.
W.L. May Co: Closed
UPS: Normal delivery of ground, air, and international shipments. Pickup of air and international shipments only.
OnTrac: Normal Deliveries. Pickups by special request.
Fed EX: Ground-Open. Early station, on-call pickups and drop box closings in some areas.
