That MIGHT work OK if the business is a one-man-show Of course, that system falls apart fast when multiple techs are involved. A good inventory management system can save a lot of money and headaches. I'm not saying a company should be overstocked and with a good inventory management system a firm can make sure that they have what they need without going overboard.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08127450124853115615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6167860071950282214.post-37026423838571532792013-07-23T09:35:05.672-07:002013-07-23T09:35:05.672-07:00Our ServiceDesk system shows us every single part ...Our ServiceDesk system shows us every single part on every truck and what is in our warehouse stock. It is essential to know your inventory. It should be your goal for a first-call complete at every call. Do the math! You don't have the part, you have to research it, order it, receive it, reschedule the appointment, then use ANOTHER time slot in your day to complete the repair! Not to mention having the part on the truck helps to sell the repair AND the customer is not inconvenienced by having to be available another day! Win/win all the way around!Patty Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13015035668372709888noreply@blogger.com
